The documents below might be helpful if you need to gather information to put in to your prospectus entry from other colleagues.  The first is a template and the second is a completed example.

This page is designed to help schools, colleges and training providers get the best from the area prospectus and Common Application Process (CAP).  To search for individual providers follow the course search/apply or click on the purple sticker to go in to the Sussex area prospectus.

The prospectus provides every provider with a customised page on which to show all the courses on offer as well as details of venues, facilities and events.  It offers impartial information to students and the opportunity to link tthrough to providers' own websites.  It also links to the Common Application process which is currently being piloted and running live in parts of Sussex.

The Education and Skills Act 2008 placed a duty on schools to provide impartial careers education and the  DCSF action plan for the 14-19 Prospectus and Common Application Process states that the prospectus is important in communicating the local 14-19 offer and making sure this information is freely available to young people and their parents or carers.
